UCLG Africa holds its extraordinary General Assembly and its statutory meetings on the fringes of the COP22
UCLG Africa organizes its extraordinary General Assembly and its statutory meetings in parallel to the COP22 (7-18 November 2016, Marrakech). This decision was taken during the 14th session of UCLG Africa Executive Committee (10 May 2016, Rabat) in order to ensure high participation of African Local Authorities at the event, including the Climate Summit for Local and Regional Leaders on 14 November 2016.
On November 11, the meeting of the Executive Committee of UCLG Africa will take place. On November 12, UCLG Africa Pan-African Council will meet and on November 13, the extraordinary General Assembly will be held in order to adopt the new statutes of the organization.
